Professor Ben Miranda

Professor Ben Miranda is a distinguished Consultant Plastic, Cosmetic, and Hand Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the field. He is dual-qualified, holding fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast) and the European Board of Hand Surgery (EBHS), as well as the British Diploma in Hand Surgery (DipHandSurg).

Professor Miranda completed his medical training at University College London, earning both a BSc and MBBS. He achieved first place in the national recruitment process for Plastic Surgery training and subsequently undertook his specialist training at several prestigious London teaching hospitals, including UCL, Royal Free, Chelsea & Westminster, and St Mary’s Paddington. Following this, he completed two Aesthetic Surgery fellowships at leading international institutions and two Hand Surgery fellowships at renowned centers in London and Derby.

In addition to his clinical practice, Professor Miranda is actively involved in academic research and education. He has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications and two best-selling surgical textbooks. He serves as the Research Group Lead at the School of Medicine and is a Visiting Professor at a UK medical school.

Professor Miranda offers a comprehensive range of procedures, including abdominoplasty, breast augmentation and reduction, blepharoplasty, liposuction, labiaplasty, and various hand surgeries such as carpal tunnel release and tendon repair. He is also a recognized Medicolegal Expert Witness, providing detailed reports for legal cases involving clinical negligence and personal injury.
