Dr Steven Mann

Dr Steven Mann is a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist with nearly two decades of expertise in both NHS and private practice. He completed his postgraduate training across North London hospitals, including dedicated research years at the renowned St Mark’s Hospital, and has held a consultant position at Barnet Hospital since 2003. His NHS role includes managing in-patient and out-patient care, endoscopy services, and emergency gastroenterology.

Dr Mann holds several leadership roles, including Site Lead for Clinical Nutrition, Clinical Lead for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), and former Endoscopy Training Lead. He is actively involved in postgraduate education, serving as an Educational Supervisor and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London’s Department of Medicine.

His private practice, based at Hadley Wood Hospital, offers patients a highly professional, accessible, and personalised service. Dr Mann consults on all aspects of gastrointestinal health and disease, drawing on his broad clinical knowledge as both a Gastroenterologist and General Physician.

He has an extensive academic record, with over 30 peer-reviewed publications, 30 abstracts, and more than 50 poster presentations at national and international medical conferences.
