Dr Drew Provan

Dr Drew Provan is a highly respected Consultant Haematologist with over 30 years of experience in both clinical and academic haematology. He is an Emeritus Reader in Haematology at Barts and The London School of Medicine and a recognised authority in immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and benign haematological disorders.

Dr Provan has played a pivotal role in advancing the understanding and treatment of ITP through leading international research collaborations, clinical trials, and the establishment of national disease registries. His academic contributions include numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and authorship of leading medical textbooks, such as the Oxford Handbook of Clinical Haematology and Molecular Hematology.
