Miss Elaine Cheung is a highly respected Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with specialist interests in fetal medicine, menstrual disorders, fibroids, endometriosis, sexual health, menopause, and pre-conceptual care. She is known for her compassionate, evidence-based approach and her dedication to advancing women’s health through clinical care, education, and research.

A graduate of Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Miss Cheung also earned a first-class honours degree in Anatomy (BSc). She completed her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2023, in recognition of her expertise and contributions to the field.

Miss Cheung holds a substantive consultant post at Barnet Hospital, part of the Royal Free London NHS Trust, and is widely regarded for her clinical excellence and patient-centred care. She integrates medical acupuncture where appropriate, offering a holistic and personalised approach to gynaecological care.

A passionate educator and mentor, Miss Cheung is a clinical lecturer for both the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). As a council member and secretary of BMAS, she plays a key role in shaping the organisation’s educational and clinical initiatives.
